For some reason, I have always felt like singing in public toilet - TopicsExpress

For some reason, I have always felt like singing in public toilet stalls. My voice gets that urge, like Ive got an impressive audience waiting for me behind curtains. In fact, once when I was a young lass, The Little Mermaid just came up and out of the Farm beginning to end, and my voice flew out the moment I sat on the toilet at McDonalds during lunch hour. Everyone was too robotic during their busy day, so I just belt it. I thought no one but I myself was listening. And I sang from beginning note to end , pulled my pants up, flushed the toilet and washed my hands. I stopped for a second and thought it was weird how the entire fast paced fast food joint was dead silent. I could still smell the month old french fries but something was different. No cooking timers were beeping. I couldnt hear footsteps or people shuffling around. I was a little reluctant to walk out of the bathroom but I did anyway. As the door closed behind me a bunch of faces are all staring at me. I could feel the red blood cells floating to the surface of my face turning my face an embarrassing shade of bright red as I realized they all mustve heard me sing. Theres a reason why I never sang in front of people. However, I was in total shock as the entire restaurant stopped time as they applauded, cheered and whistled at me. I never would have dreamed that I would have found my stage.
