For some reason, it appears reality evolves with a view to interconnectedness and dependance. Look at plants, they are fundamentally dependent on the sun and soil and our exhalation. Similarly, animals are dependent on water and plants. One cannot live without the other. We live in a world where we are disconnected from this oneness with everything. There is a you and a me. That is a plant and I am an animal. If one will transcend the barriers set on our perceptions, they will realize that there is no you and me, there are no plants and animals(in a relative sense). Everything is One and Nondual. Nonduality is balance between the animal world and plant world, you and me, man and woman. There is no balance in todays society, no oneness with the other. Men dominate women because they do not see themselves in women. Humans dominate plants and animals because they do not see themselves in plants and animals. Both issues stem from the same problem, our disconnection from true empathy and love. If you are Me, how can I not love you? I love you as I love myself. You are not a woman and I am not a man. You are me and I am you.
