For some strange reason I have let this election period get the best of me at times. I have had post and verbal disagreements with people I consider friends and I regret those encounters. I usually take the high road in situations with a positive atittude because I know its healthier physically and emotionally especially for a heart failure patient or for anyone. No ones perfect and I definitely fall into that category but I should, through my experiences, know better than to let my personal feelings get the best of me over others opinions of me or differences about who would be the best elected official for our city, life and good health can be too short! History has recorded the struggles of many before us securing the right for all to vote which is why some us take it so serious. Who can really say whos right or wrong, sincere or insincere, whether its all a political game or not, the most important thing is that we care enough to cast our votes after careful vetting of the candidates records, their transparency to the public on issues, their integrity and their general concern to do whats in the best interest of the city as well as their abilities to successfully act on the issues that will get them elected. Whatever the outcome of election day we all want the same thing, to move forward to a brighter future for the city we love, I hope the choices we make will be that beginning! Quite frankly I will be relieved Wednesday November 5th so I can comfortably and peacefully return to my positive and sometimes hopefully humorous posts. My therapeutic testimony of my health journey will also continue in hopes it will in a small way encourage health awareness for others! Live and Love Life like its 1999, lol!!!
