For some, the ultimate sense of freedom implies behavior without consequence. That definition fits some alternate reality, but in this cause and effect universe where we dwell, freedom is a co-function of choice and responsibility. We constantly choose this, or that, consciously or not. We are responsible for the outcomes. If we werent, wed be mere victims. What is perceived sometimes as the heavy burden of responsibility is at root the very essence of our freedom to choose and act. Apart from that, things would merely be happening to us. Exercise freedom through choice, act, note outcomes, adjust choices. This is a very matter of fact process that happens within you. Neither absolute control nor imperious power are implied: just noting how your oar touches the current.
