For some time I had trouble remembering the meanings of am and pm and so had a lady, whom I had started dating. Like many Israelis we were changing languages in midsentence. So, after we had agreed to meet at 8 am the next day, we were later very angry at each other, as I had been there at 8 am Morgen (in the morning), while she had been waiting for me at 8 after midday. Why can’t the English say “20 hour” like normal people.
