For sometime now I have posted my old wedding gown for sale on this site and many others in hopes that it would find a new home or go for a good cause with little success. Today however I am posting my dress again to these sites with a different purpose as I have discovered nicuhelpinghands.org in which is an organization put together to provide assistance financially and otherwise to families of premature babies and infant losses from premature birth. I have personally witnessed the pain and fear of these families of premature infants with past NICU ambulance transports as well as following my incredibly courageous niece on her journey with precious Bentley who was born at 30 weeks with multiple complications, but is alive and well thanks to the amazing care provided in the NICU at the University of Nebraska in Omaha in which Bentley and his mom continue to remain a year later. Since donations for the year 2014 have closed, I have decided to keep my gown posted for sale, but this time not for the profit of myself, but instead will provide all proceeds of my wedding gown for this amazing organization. If indeed the dress does not sell then I of course will be donating the dress to them in the coming of 2015 for Angel Gowns for infants to be made from its material. 2006 Mori Lee Wedding gown size 16. Worn once and needs cleaning. Can be worn with or without straps. Bustle is intact and ready for use. Will throw in the veil all for $100. Located in Elkader. Contact to see or for a fitting.
