For students of CSS - The candidates must study on average 7/8 hours daily .For essay Id recommend you to choose an essay topic on the current affairs. I use to write on current affairs daily. Every year there are at least 2 or 3 topics relating to current affairs in essay paper. Try to get print out of articles from different newspapers websites(nation,dawn,news and daily times), file them and arrange them by topics. Then make a note on relevant topics from the articles . Make an outline before writing your essay. Divide it into paragraphs and cite quotations, wherever , the quotations are required . There are many good websites of awesome quotations , The examiners not only require or expect good grammatically correct English , but also the expressive English enhances the possibility of good score. We expect that candidates may have extensive reading and writing skills with good grasp over subject matter - Majority of students lack the ability to write 2500-3000 words in English , because of poor knowledge or related subject matter. though they might have good writing capabilities .
