For sure Patti Smith has better songs and seeing her at 67 on stage Monday night was as strong a reminder of how vital an older woman rocker can be - a woman who has blossomed into a great woman, a great mother, and a great artist in numerous fields - she reminded us to stay aware, awake, alive, creative and free - that the future is NOW... She reminded us the we have the power...people have the power. Go Patti Smith - may you live long, healthy, and keep pouring yourself into your work...
