For the 1st time in a long time for me, Christmas actually feels like Christmas. Because, raising money for a cause, forces you to notice other things. The world appears to be a big, dark, hard place with no goodness left in it, until you actually look. Lots of people are doing lots of good things, there are obviously the guys at the Foodbank, the guys at 12 Days of Xmas, the schools are doing charity days and a lot of people are contributing to these and other causes. We now have 12 people doing the Boxing Day Dip, mostly to raise money for the Foodbank. I was properly touched by the 5 year old who asked his birthday party guests to bring things the Foodbank needed, to his party. The world isnt so awful, there are good people out there!!
