For the Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. (Proverbs 2:6) Dearly beloved, Lord Jesus lived in this world being filled with the Spirit of the Almighty God. This can be seen in Isaiah 11:2, “The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.” If the Lord Jesus Himself needed to have the Spirit of wisdom and understanding and the Spirit of counsel and might, how much more should we need to have this Spirit! The Bible says in Isaiah 33:6, “He (The Lord) will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.” Be filled today with the same Spirit that the Lord Jesus received. He filled His disciples with His Holy Spirit when they were in this world. The Scripture says, “When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus” (Acts 4:13). Dearly beloved, Apostle Paul says, “in whom (Jesus) are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3). People around you will say, “How great is this man’s wisdom! It is so amazing!” when you too are filled with the Spirit of wisdom and the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. If you are not yet filled with this Spirit of wisdom and knowledge, ask the Lord. He will fill you with the treasures of His wisdom and knowledge. Joseph was an ordinary slave who had nothing with him when he entered into the land of Egypt. But since he had the Spirit of the Lord, God lifted him up in that land. He had the wisdom to interpret dreams and their meanings. Pharaoh was astounded by the wisdom of Joseph and said, Can we find anyone like this man, one in whom is the Spirit of God?... there is no one so discerning and wise as you” (Genesis 41:38, 39). Dearly beloved, receive divine wisdom like Joseph and be faithful to the Lord. He will make you stand before kings. The Bible says, “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men” (Proverbs 22:29). We read in Proverbs 2:6, “…The Lord gives wisdom, and from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.” He is the source of all wisdom and knowledge. When you ask Him for these treasures, He will surely grant you these blessings and lift you up in life. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge. I humbly ask You to grant me these blessings. Please anoint me with the Holy Spirit and fill me with the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Help me to excel in all the work of my hands and lift me up in life. In Your matchless name I pray, Amen.
