For the Single Mamas and Papas Christmas ....I invite you to cry, or drink a beer, tonight as you finished up the last of your shopping. I invite you to be ok if dinner is hot pockets instead of a dressed-up dining room, I invite you to not have it the way you thought it should be and just appreciate and love your kids. I invite you to pat your back and say good job for sneaking out middle of the night so your kids dont see gifts, and for giving when maybe you feel less than filled up yourself, or for putting back the much needed sweater so they can have one more gift. I invite you to make the next 24 hours perfect just the way it is, and lastly, I invite you to be okay with the store bought cookies for Santa, even when you wish you baked them. Heres to oreos and milk this year!
