For the Umpteen Gazillionth Time, It’s a Great Relief That the U.S. Government Is “Monitoring the Situation Closely” This time it’s regarding the ouster of another supposedly “great” national morsel --- Mohamed Morsi of Egypt. Of course, that means that the State Dept. is deeply involved with the monitoring. Secretary of State John Kerry would be a great person to be leading this uber-important process from the department’s evidently new headquarters off the coast of Nantucket, MA. He is in a yacht named “Isabel”, perhaps as part of a deal to monitor Christopher Columbus for Queen Isabella of Spain. BTW, with the help of the NSA, a CBS producer was able to locate Kerry. According to a tweet, when she spotted Kerry on the yacht in the Nantucket Boat Basin, and she shouted "Morsi", she got no response. Of course, we always should give hard-working Government employees the benefit of the doubt. Probably, the CIA, NSA, National Security Council, etc. had not yet had a chance to inform Kerry who Morsi is and where Egypt is located. I’m sure that everyone will join me in applauding yet another superb U.S. Government monitoring process. boston.cbslocal/2013/07/03/report-kerry-on-yacht-in-nantucket-during-egyptian-presidents-ouster/ P.S. CBS and much of the media has had a lot of problems in recent years. Here is one sample comment. “We’re getting the big stories wrong, over and over again …” --- CBS Evening News anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley, Quinnipiac University, 5/10/2013. Obviously, they don’t want to bungle up or even omit another one, as they usually do. ------------------------- Al, The Plumber of the Depths of Lunacy!
