For the benefit of my fellow NYS LMTs out there: Dear People of the world, A Massuese is the French word for a female massage therapist. To call a male massage therapist would sound silly and uninformed. Most people tolerate it, but after 10 years of hearing this, I just thought I would give a friendly headsup and improve the situation for everyone concerned. A safe bet would be to completely leave the French out of it and call me and all of my colleagues Massage Therapists.
