For the first time I found myself agreeing with Prof Makau on the fact that Kanyans lost the ability to think as individuals and adopted a mob thinking or what is called sheep mentality. We surrendered our ability to think to politicians who decides for us ,reads the draft constitution for us ,tells us who to vote n who to throw stones to,whose house to burn ,simply bcoz of a divergence in opinion btwn those we perceive as our political devils versus our gods in politics. Today we are being told that we need to change the constitution which we voted the other day YES n NO for reasons not best known to us but to the same pple who vigorously asked us to mark YES in any paper handed to us by the IEBC without applying any thinking at all! Today what appeared so dear to them then ,has lost taste because the present scenario as it is, does not appear favorable to them and they are calling the gullible voting tools to go back to work n amend the constitution. We have simply become like TV sets which are changed channels at the whims of the viewer through a remote control! We urgently need a mind revolution to liberate our thinking ability which have been taken hostage by the politicians. That day when we shall vote men and women of high integrity into position of leadership for their ability to lead than their ability to influence us through tribal affiliations,money, nepotism,clan ism,fat pockets,or other questionable deeds, that is when indeed we shall have liberated our our individuality thinking. Thats when the majority will realize that the problem lies with" ME" That is " YOU" . And you gonna act !
