For the first time, financial education is now part of the compulsory National Curriculum. Introduced in September, it forms part of Citizenship classes for 11-16-year-olds and maths for 5-14-year-olds. The tax video - to be launched officially next month - will be broadcast as part of these. .................................. -- which has answered my admittedly-rhetorical question: will this film be shown to the top-rate-tax dodging socio-economic class (those whose parents bank offshore) or just the base-rate-tax dodging class (those whose parents work cash-in-hand cleaning other folks toilets??) Coz compulsory National Curriculum subjects are NOT compulsory in the wholly-Privately-financed Schools to which the top-rate-tax dodgers send their offspring...
