For the last 13 years Fire and Iron Station 8 has been in existence. Through the hard work of its members we have shrived to be on the forefront of a professional organization, participating and organizing major events, most notably the 9/11 event. We are Firefighters who like to ride and due to the rules of our department, and other jobs do not want to be held to rules by a voluntary club, the basic foundation that the founder Mike Moss instilled. In the last few years, the club has grown to the point that now there are rules of how and when we can wear our colors, reporting in, secret handshakes, attendance and other ridiculousness. As a result, the club has decided to end its affiliation with F&I, but the outstanding members will still meet, ride and represent the basic foundation of our love. We hope to establish a new club, and open it to those who feel as we do. To our F&I Brothers, you all are still brothers just not in formal organizational aspects. Ride Safe.
