For the last 24 hours I have really been giving some serious - TopicsExpress

For the last 24 hours I have really been giving some serious thought to the way I treat my body; the things I put in it, the way I feel when I eat junk, the great feeling I experience when I have completed my daily workout, the feeling of accomplishment when I wake up in the morning and my stomach has no bloat to it whatsoever, because I exhibited restraint the day before, how my attitude and perspective positively correlates to the quality of my eating and activity levels, etc... I know this may sound a bit harsh, but I feel compelled to put it out there. I encourage people, just like you, every single day to take better care of their bodies. Many people have taken me seriously and taken advantage of the groups I offer and have changed their lifestyles and bodies dramatically. But by and large, most people ignore my posts or provide me with a reason that they just cant commit to engaging in a better, healthier lifestyle. And that is fine. I am not doing what I am doing to make anyone feel badly about the choices they make. But I am going to support, motivate and encourage those who want to do better and help and cheer for them every step of the way! With that being said, my thinking comes down the this simple question and truthful answer. You dont have to be honest with me, just be honest with yourself. What is your excuse? Why do you not want to be healthier and live a better lifestyle? For those who say they cant afford the cost... Why not give up your daily coffee splurge or refrain from buying that fancy handbag? You body is certainly worth more than that designer bag isnt it? For those of you who say I dont have time... That is a rotten excuse. I have 4 kids, run a very, very demanding art business, volunteer at our school weekly, am currently packing out entire house and am still getting in 30 minutes a day. Why not stop reading the gossip mags for 30 minutes, or turn your phone or computer off for 30 minutes. I know for sure you waste 30 minutes a day doing mindless activities. Why not spend those 30 minutes doing something you will benefit from in the long term? There are a lot of other reasons and excuses I get, but the bottom line comes down to this: Do you want to live a healthier, happier, better lifestyle, so you can feel good about yourself, love your body (regardless of your pants size) and be positive about what is coming next in your life? Or do you want to stay stuck where you are, saying next week you will make a change or continue to convince yourself that you are happy and healthy enough? Answer those questions truthfully with yourself. Is your life worth more to you than that expensive handbag? That vanilla latte? And/or Facebook surfing and creeping for 30 minutes? If your answer is YES, let me help you. Let me support and encourage and cheer for you while you work towards healthier lifestyle goals. There are only 8 weeks left in 2014. Why not end this year the way you had planned to begin it?
