For the last 29 days, I have ONLY had whole foods. The only things Ive consumed that has had an ingredient label was bacon. Everything else has just been that food in a package. (Such as almond butter, ingredients only: almonds) As you know I have lupus. Symptoms of a flare up are sore joints, stiffness in the AM or throughout the day due to inflammation. I was having really bad night bloating. It would look like I gained 5lbs through the day. And lots of gas. (Not a good look) So I originally took on whole30 as a test because Ive heard and now read about how much grains and beans cause such symptoms and legumes and grains cause inflammation. I knew if I followed it that I would also lean out. So I didnt change my normal gym or cardio routine in anyway. If I could make the gym for 30mins I would if I could stay longer I would and if I couldnt make it, I didnt stress. Remember, my original reason was ALL internal reasons. Im happy to report ALL night bloating is gone. I have had NO flare ups. NO stiffness. NO joint pain. NO inflammation. Now: the physical. Ive gained 3lbs. (Which is hilarious to me and youll see why when I tell you my measuments and why I always say weight doesnt matter!!!!!) Here is my before and after measurements.
