For the last several days Ive attempted to get a ride to go take care of a few important tasks to no avail. Its sad but Im seeing a disturbing trend in the unavailability of assistance for the disabled unless they can pay cash up front, do a physical labor trade, or rely on a pca or payee. Well not every disabled person has access to all available resources for one reason or another and most live in a horrible state of poverty and many are taken advantage of by those they trust to care for them. Fortunately I have a good pca that I can trust and can access most services and resources without assistance. But there are some that I need help with. So if you ever find yourself temporarily or permanently disabled and needing assistance and its not there when you need it, ask yourself if you were ever there for someone in your life when they needed it. #sickofapathy
