For the last two decades, Libby and I have shared each Christmas eve-eve with friends and leaders of the Central Texas African American community for a dressy and enjoyable gathering with “The Group.” We are always honored to be guests of our longtime friend and former law enforcement officer, Barbara Foreman. I extended greetings together with Barbara and Kenneth Thompson. Last night we shared the evening with another longtime friend and neighbor, newly elected City Councilmember Ora Houston.
