For the last two weeks, Ive been watching comedy specials On Demand to make me laugh despite all thats going on in America (and because of Chris Rocks recent interviews)... After watching them, it donned on me that all but two of the specials that I watched on HBO were filmed in DC: Dave Chappelle Killing Them Softly (Lincoln Theatre), Chris Rock Bring The Pain (Takoma Theatre) and Chris Rock Never Scared (Constitution Hall). Throw in two others that I now want to watch again: Eddie Murphy Delirious (Kennedy Center) and Martin Lawrence Runteldat (Constitution Hall)... I guess its fitting that I would love each and every one of these. Honorable Mention: D.L. Hughley Goin Home (which was filmed in Charlotte) and Chris Rock Kill The Messenger (filmed in Johannesburg, London and New York City)... What are your favorite quotes from these specials?
