For the most part today has went well. Darins labs came back good. Dressing change went fast enough to allow him to eat breakfast before radiation. Radiation only took an hour today but they said the 1st day of each week will take this long as they take scans once a week. The rest of the week should only be about half hour. They decided to do the radiation. On his femur at the same time as his abdominal area as long as his counts stay high and there arent any problems but they are only doing 12 days to the femur. This was good news to me because last week they said they would do just the abdominal area and once that was done they would do the femur. To me that takes some of the time off. Our visit with dr. Coulter went good- he gained a little weight and thats what they wanted from him, he still has to continue that to keep from having an ng tube. He is at school right now- still feels pretty good. However, he did throw up shortly after getting back to room after radiation which is one of the side effects. Boo. But he has felt good since then.
