For the ones who think I never lose my composure in public Ill share a little story about our dinner this evening. We were enjoying a nice meal and quiet conversation. Then two women were seated next to us who quickly began conversing so loudly the cooks probably heard them in the back of the house. We tried to remain calm but then they started talking about their episodes with shingles and their vaginal issues. I lost my appetite and my composure. I walked up to the bar and asked to be checked out as quickly as possible. Tom and I were leaving and I told the two wretched ladies that I didnt appreciate hearing about their female issues while I was trying to enjoy my dinner. One of them grabbed her breasts and asked if wed like to discuss them. I informed her that we had heard enough from them and requested that they stay in their homes if they needed to discuss their health issues. She retorted, Oh! Youre not joking are you? I whispered back to her, No Im not kidding and the table next to you didnt have to hear about my displeasure with your rudeness. I told her that people like her should have never been allowed out of the birth canal much less allowed into a public space. Then I threw my scarf around my neck and walked out like a boss.
