For the past 10 years of my life on my birthday,I would get a call real early in the morning from my dad he would always say the same thing,I am calling you early because I am heading to LaTante and I will be there all day.My sister Nicki Neva Pitt and I had to opportunity to partake in this memorial years ago. It really was quite inspiring. It may seem odd judging from what you see in modern day Grenada but, in those days Grenadians actually fought (sometimes literally ) for what was right.Thanks to those who fought,we can enjoy the benefits today.... What are we doing as a people to create a better Grenada for the ones to come? Do your civic duty, learn and teach your history.After all,we know that we wont know where we are going unless we know where we came from...March 13, always a significant day in Grenadas history.
