For the past 3 days this song has been in my head. You know awkward moment when u are standing at the bus stop about to tie the door key and you just break out and start singing a line from a song. In your mind you are like WHERE IN THE HELL DID THAT COME FROM I HAVENT HEARD THAT SONG IN YEARS!! ... I call these HEART SONGS... songs that connect with you on a spirit level that sometimes your conscious mind hasnt even realized. it was today the 3 rd day of this song randomly showing up that I actually payed closer attention to the words I was singing Something i so strong. I know that I can make it, though youre doing me wrong so wrong. You thought my pride was gone. Oh no. SOMETHING INSIDE SO STRONG! It amazes me the way music connects to your spirit and it will show randomly.. I BELIEVE in the midst of all that is happening... Michael Brown and all the reminders of Travon Martin, Emmet Till and those before and in between; Our President A A Black who has bust his but to try and follow through on everything he mentioned in both campaigns and they want to try to em peach him; and finally the ROBIN WILLIAMS death that has reminded us all that depression is so real ..whats interesting is BLACK MEN ARE WAKING UP, WALKING, LIVING AND BREATHING A DEPRESSED LIFE. And people cant understand the challenge it is to be a black man in America ...another black young man will probably go on trial for his own Murder and OUR PRESIDENT probably the most powerful black man will go on trial for trying to save the country for not just THE HAVES but also THE HAVE NOTS. We have to remember that SLAVERY (all forms ) is nothing but a mindset .. NELSON MANDELA SHOWED US THAT.!! NO MATTER WHAT.....There.s SOMETHING INSIDE sSO STRONG! THINK about it ..
