For the past 7 years, after a Long Stint in Marketing Hi Tech equipments, I chose to take Teaching as a Full Time Career. Since then, I have taught around 2000 students in different streams, different colleges and universities , including from Europe. My mission was not just TO TEACH SUBJECTS but to INSTILL human values to my students. Frankly, I am disappointed , today Education is a BUSINESS and most students just want a Certificate or Degree by hook or crook, pass and get a job but what KEEPS on MOTIVATING me is those FEW STUDENTS who have understood me and TOUCHED my heart. One such student was RUPESH. He came to me as a Shy Young Lad of 19, from a simple family , wanting to improve his personality and English Skills.Like all students from Vernacular Schools, he had a Complex about his English.As I always do, first I removed his Fear and Complex, told him he is NO LESS THAN ANY of those Convent guys, if not BETTER.Since then, with some GUIDANCE from me, he completed his B.Sc, his Diploma in Clinical research from Haffkine Institute, his MBA from Mumbai University and has a very good Executive Job in an MNC. Like most UP families, his parents wanted him to be married early but I always told him, Complete your education, Get a Good Job and then Marry. Finally Rupesh found his Soulmate, his princess named RUBY and as Committed , I went to attend his wedding in the Dehat of UP . It was no 5 star wedding but it was the WARMTH of these SIMPLE DEHATI people which WARMED me in the BITING COLD. Yes , things ARE CHANGING. Instead of COMPLAINING, be an AGENT OF CHANGE. Hindutva and Development both are COMPLEMENTARY.
