For the past 9 weeks the LORD has granted me the unique privilege of teaching 52 vibrant bright minds in a course entitled EXPLORING THE BIBLE. I cannot tell you how blessed I am to be entrusted by Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary to teach on this great campus. This course provides a survey of the biblical story in its progressive unfolding of the history of redemption within the framework of creation, fall, redemption, consummation. Attention is given to the literary, historical, cultural, and theological dimensions of Scripture as it offers a metanarrative or ‘worldview-story.’ Emphasis is placed on the unity of Scripture as it reaches its fullness and fulfillment in Christ, while at the same time recognizing key developments and differences between the various chapters of the biblical storyline. The 52 students had to combine their gifts and talents to complete a GROUP PROJECT that would demonstrate their grasp of the biblical storyline and express their creativity. They worked in groups of 6-8 students to create a presentation of the biblical story. They were to present the PROJECT as if their audience has no previous knowledge of the biblical storyline. Creativity in their presentation was a MUST.
