For the past few days ive been depressed as ive thought deeply about death. The only relief came from focusing on an objective in a video game: minecraft. To my surprise the ending did not come with traditional credits, but a text: a conversation between two un-named entities. (I know theyre the programmers but their point was still strong) They spoke of life in a scientific & philosophical manner and the shock of finding this information, at this time, nearly brought me to tears. You know how some people believe god is speaking to them from their alphabet cereal? Well this to me was the equivalent of that.. only not stupid lol... Im at a loss for words and yet at the same time have found peace.. all from a simple game that began with no true purpose or direction.. much like life.. then out of nowhere conveys to me the real meaning of life.. Did the universe purposely deliver me this message in my hour of need?.. Ive always found comfort in the belief of fate.. but not quite as much as now.
