For the past month Ive been learning the Digital Audio Workstation called Reaper. I got it because I needed a change, to keep things fresh because I noticed my stuff getting stale. After playing on it for a bout a month now, I reformatted my computer and installed it all fresh. I googled every little annoying problem I encountered while using it and mended the issues. The greatest issue was trying to get the Edit Cursor to stay the hell where it is when your clicking objects in the timeline. Nothing worse than a fidgety cursor. If anyone runs into this problem by the way, you fix it under Mouse Modifiers in Preferences. Its under Media Item - Change it to Move item ignoring time selection. And it should be sweet. Now I have a perfectly functioning template that I can thrash beats out like ringing a bell. Happy days! reaper.fm/
