For the past several months, Combat Genocide Association with Genocide Watch has been working to establish a coalition of nations who have suffered genocide. The purpose of this coalition is to educate, discuss and examine genocide prevention worldwide in a practical way. In order to establish a coalition, we are forming the First International Congress of Genocide Survivors in Jerusalem slated for April 2014, to collectively declare war on genocide, a phenomenon that has taken tens of millions of lives since World War II. Combat Genocide Association is organizing the First International Congress for Genocide Survivors in association with Genocide Prevention Now, the Jerusalem Center for Genocide Prevention, Genocide Watch and members of the Armenian and Darfuri community in Israel. The congress will be held for five days between the 20th – 27th of April 2014 and will include a visit in Yad-VaShem, participation on the Armenian genocide memorial day in the Armenian Patriarchate in Jerusalem and a meeting with the Darfurian community in Israel. We would like to personally invite you to attend this congress as a genocide prevention activist. The congress is still in its early planning stages, and we are actively looking for financial partners for this project that would allow us to host you as our guest in Jerusalem. As well as your participation in the congress we would also like to invite your contributions and feedback as we plan for next year’s event. I and other members of Combat Genocide Association will be travelling to France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands at the 19th-25th August and to the U.S. at October for appointments and fundraising trip, and would gladly accept any help meeting potential activists, donors or any introductions to strategic relationships. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have, Warm Regards, Uriel Levy urielevy@gmail -- Uriel Levy (+972) 54-6738612 Combat Genocide Association
