For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep - TopicsExpress

For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. Isaiah 30:19 Do you remember as a child walking in a store or mall with your parent and start looking at things around you and before you know it you look up at that parent and they were not there? You were so frightened and starting calling out to them and panic set in. So afraid you started crying. Such a fear comes over you and you may have even screamed. But the amazing thing is even though you didnt see them, they were close by, they heard your cry and they ran to you. As a Christian that has happened to us. We wandered off but it didnt take elaborate words, only a cry out for help. The word says God bottles our tears; they mean something to God. When we realize we have gone to far, all it takes is a cry of forgiveness and God is right there to pick us up, wrap his arms around us and lets us know we belong to him and he has not gone anywhere. Your parent wasnt the one who walked off from you as a child it was you , the parent was still right where you walked off from them. If you had just started walking back to where you came from you would have found them, but most times because panic set in, you froze and got confused. That happens to us as Gods children, God promised never to leave us. So many times people cry out to God and say Where are You? Why did you leave me, or abandon me? When all the time it is we who wander off. He says just turn around Im right where you left me. We allow things in life to get our attention and cause us to look away and before we know it we are lost. If you feel that you are all alone, if you feel that you have been abandoned or you cant feel Gods presence, I urge you to turn around from the direction you are headed and cry out. God is right where you left him, he is just waiting on you call on him and let him know you are ready to come running back to his open and loving arms.
