For the person struggling to understand why you have not received an answer even though you have earnestly, fervently prayed about a matter, understand that delay is not denial. Even though in the natural it may look like nothing is happening, in the spirit realm your prayers have the potential to cause resistance in the heavenlies. Daniel prayed and fasted for 3 weeks seeking an answer from God and did not get any response. When the answer finally came, the angel gives us an insight into the “unseen” realm of what happens when one prays. He tells Daniel “From the moment you decided to humble yourself to receive understanding, your prayer was heard, and I set out to come to you. But I was waylaid by the angel-prince of the kingdom of Persia and was delayed for a good three weeks. But then Michael, one of the chief angel-princes, intervened to help me.” Daniel 10:12-14. My assignment today is simple. Be encouraged. Delay is not denial. Your prayers are heard. The answer has been sent. Keep on watching and waiting in faith. Help is on the way. New Season. New Shift.
