For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1 Cor 1:18). The cross of Jesus Christ does not only reveal a picture of Gods love, but it also manifests the severity/gravity of Gods righteous judgment arrayed against sin (Rom 2:4-10).The proclamation of the cross MUST manifest both sides that it represents. We must not only share with individuals about Gods love for us, we must equally tell them of His starch hatred for sin that lives within us. This is what Jesus preached! The cross represents God gracious mercy for those who receive its full pardon from sins power/penalty and a clear witness of inevitable judgment for those who refuse it. In other words, those who refuse to receive by faith the gift that Jesus purchased upon the cross will have to endure for eternity what Jesus endured on the cross; Selah! Receive Jesus IN TRUTH while the opportunity is afforded. Facts about who Jesus is DOES NOT SAVE (the devil has the facts and is NOT saved James,2:19). Its our faith in HIM that saves (John 3:36). This world is perishing QUICKLY and everything in it. The only ticket to safety is an ACTIVE/LIVING and OBEDIENT FAITH in the Person of Jesus Christ. We MUST exchange OUR lives for HIS. The time to stand before Almighty God is at hand, will you be ready?
