For the privileged in America, Ebola can teach us a valuable lesson. That we should focus on lifting every single person in the world out of poverty. Their health can have a direct impact on yours. Instead of using it as another excuse to turn your back and consider them dangerous, realize that they were born into poverty and did not choose it. That could have been you. Drinkable water, sewage and sanitation services and plumbing is the least we could do to raise people up around the world. You must see that improving the lives of others is an easy way to improve your own. Imagine if we all did that. Im not after Utopia, after all helping others for the benefit of helping yourself could be seen as selfish. So I see no good argument against it.
