For the purposes of traffic calming, pollution reduction and pedestrian safety, the City of San Jose is considering plans that may potentially reduce the number of lanes on Lincoln Avenue (between Willow and Minnesota) from four lanes to two lanes (with one emergency/turning lane in the center). What are your thoughts of these proposed plans? Have you experienced close calls attempting to cross Lincoln Avenue?
