For the record , Africans were never brought into America for mere labour but because of the skills that were inherent in them. Blacksmiths, artisans, masonry, medicinemen, meteorologists etc. And its these same skills that Europeans wanted to be replicated in America. Do the math. Why would you go thousands of miles just to get people for labour in cotton farms when u could just go next door and get Mexicans ? Its these same skills that were fundamental in building what America is nowadays . Stop that bullshit of Hollywood portraying black people as mere spanner boys for the white man. Make a movie with a black man showing how he discovered traffic lights, how he came up with the clock, how he laid the foundation for modern music etc. How I wish B.E.T, could stand for black enlightening television, Unfortunately all it does is enforcing the stereo types, lil Wayne sagging pants to his ankles, idiot! just go ahead n wear a skirt instead.
