For the second year in a row, CHPBA has organized a team for the 17th Annual LA Cancer Challenge 5K/10K Walk & Run and we are inviting all our CHPBA families to participate. Held on Sunday, October 26 at the VA Grounds in West LA, the LA Cancer Challenge is a family-friendly Halloween-themed event that offers an opportunity for our kids to get involved in a cause together. In addition to the walk/run there is a huge outdoor Fit Family Expo, Kids Halloween Fun Zone, costume parade and live entertainment. Most of our boys will do the 5K, which is a 3.1 mile loop course, that starts at 9:00 am. Registration is $40 and includes a t-shirt, gift bag, custom timing chip, finishers medal, free race photos and more.
