For the third year now, there has been an ongoing problem for my 16 year old with a kid at school. He touches her, pokes at her, has struck her, hurled racial epithets at her, broken her belongings at least twice, and time after time we have gone through proper channels with the school and the RCMP only to have nothing come of it. On Monday, this boy poked her twice, tried to grab her headphones off her head and - when she told him to knock it off - then took a swing at her, at which point shed had enough, and she sacked him. The result? Shes suspended for 5 days, and hes getting away with yet another incident of unwanted bodily contact. Isnt that special.
