For these modern, lightweight and dangling earrings, I combined mid-century beads and rhinestones with intricate bead embroidery. My bead embroidery work includes a variety of bead sizes. Mid-century screw-back earrings form the center of the upper portion of the earrings. I built the modern earrings with surgical steel posts, but am offering to convert them to clips. Like most of my beadwork, I created the foundation from a sandwich of nonwoven materials.
