For those asking about my riders, I have the following mares who will be presented in mid-September for your consideration: Congress 2 yr. old finalist, Whisper Sumthin Hot, who is entered in the Congress Millers; ROM Novice Youth and Ammy mare, Pretty In Hot Pink, who will be entered in the Ltd. HUS Maturity. I was going to enter Twiggy, my pretty HNB yearling in the Congress Longe Line, but she got sick at the Sunbury circuit, and I am just going to let her tell us what she needs or does not need. She is as pretty as her dam, Angel In Captive, and should make a great show horse next year. She is presently 151 at the withers and 152 1/2 at the hip which is super for a May 7, 2014 filly. My two 2 year olds, Hot N Fabulous and Prom Queen Diva were not ready for the Congress due to size and maturity, but both mares are truly very, very good legged and so trainable. Hot N Fabulous will make a super Ammy and Youth horse for the future while Kree will make an outstanding Open and Ammy World and Congress quality 3 year old next year. Sasha will be available to ride and see in September, but I will be happy to cut her price to see her go to a top Ammy or Youth All-around home for showing since I do no longer do the Western Riding or AA events with my prospects. Regarding my 2014 foals, I truly love Elsa by Lazy Loper and Anna by Hot N Blazing and really want to keep both of them for next year for their respective LL classes. However, I do price every horse that I own, even our core mares, but their prices will reflect my belief in retaining them for production or future show success. Olaf is pretty homely right now as an orphan, but he is getting the proper nutrition, and he will hopefully be a surprise in the future...I am allowing him to simply grow...he is a big boy! When I saw Hans the other evening, he is the best of the 3 foals by Sophie, and should be an outstanding gelding although I would keep him a stud for the time being with his great mind and legs? He is for sale for $6,500 only until the end of this month and then his price will increase since he is a nicer colt, in my opinion, than any that I have seen on FB or on Youtube at prices of $8,500-$15,000 for similarly bred weanlings? Of course, it is my opinion, but I really feel that he is a royally bred, kind, and great moving colt. I will get another video tonight of him. For your inquiries about Steel, he has been in rehab since 10/28/13 and under constant veterinary and farrier care to prevent founder since that time. I have had great vets and farriers working on him all year while it has been a serious issue and struggle...Steel has always been and is presently my equine hero! He just got a Tildron infusion last Wednesday to help him. I think and hope that he will be able to get back to the show pen as I had originally planned last Fall when I decided not to stand him, but the reality would have been that he could not have stood anyhow this year due to his feet and joints. Thank you for your interest and questions concerning Steel and my horses. I really enjoy sharing and talking about them to anyone interested!!
