For those cloth Goodnites, Im thinking of a design along these lines... these are not my pictures, but while researching, this is what jumped out at me. (#1 for the Goodnites). I would make them with as many layers of stay dry fleece as possible in the crotch area, elastic waist and legs for a snug fit. Those would be $15. Extra absorbency inserts could be an option for the very heavy wetters, either snap-in or pocket, i could add in an insert to help absorb more. The price would vary based on what it would be made of. A similar design (#2) but with much less absorbency inside could be used for Cloth Pull Ups, to make that pottytraining transition easier, and cheaper than storebought pull ups! Those would be a bit cheaper, running at approximately $10 each. I have some time to perfect the design of course, as this fabric will take some time to come in, but this is roughly the design Im thinking of: stay dry fleece inside, basic PUL outside, and elastic at the waist and legs for a perfect, no-leak fit. :)
