For those few that posted that the wolves should be free and not caged or in a box! WE AGREE and it would be a dream come true to have them be free. But please know, none of our animals were taken from the wild, they have all been born in captivity. It is against the law for a captive born wolf to be put back into the wild. They have to remain in captivity. so instead of being stuck living out their lives somewhere in a tiny cage, we feel they are much better off here where their enclosures are acres big with plenty of room to run and play. we try our best to let them be a wolf and live in a pack environment. We feel our wolves have an important job to do, we hope they can help their family in the wild by letting people see something they might never get a chance to see in the wild specially now with the delisting and hunting of wolves that is going on in the west. We hope if more people learn about, understand and love wolves like we do more will respect them and want to protect them. Sure we spoil them and love them (its hard not to) and it may seem like we treat them like a dog but Becky and I respect the fact that even born in captivity they are still a wild animal and we are always careful about what we do and treat them with the dignity they deserve. I know with so many followers we cant always make everyone happy but just wanted to explain incase the comments were from someone who never visited the preserve and didnt know.
