For those following my epic saga with Lowes, delivery number three occurred at about 1100hrs this morning, the delivery guys managed to get the range off the truck without smashing it, too bad it didnt work. Three deliverys scheduled, and they havent yet managed to get a working range of any kind into my kitchen, not the one I ordered, not a floor model just like the one I ordered, not even a craptastic loaner. I went back to the store, doing my very best to avoid foul language and screaming, the manager promised to send another loaner in the morning, a brand new one, that he would make sure works before it it loaded (naturally the shittiest, cheapest model in the store, I paid damn near as much in tax on my order as the range he is going to send cost). I asked him what he was going to do if it didnt work, or Sputnik fell from the sky and into the delivery truck on the way, his response was that he would check it before it left, and it was very unlikely that anything would happen to it on the way. Really? That is his guarantee? His word that he would check it? His word is crap with me, and for very good reason, three delivers and zero results, everything that has happened has been very unlikely, the only thing unlikely about this situation is the chance of them getting me the damned range I paid for, or doing anything that might in some way appease me, that is what is unlikely at this point.
