For those learning, like me: a comparison of the four Schott bandpass filters that roughly combine UV+IR, but exclude visible (to varying degrees). Interesting to me when used a Full-Spectrum modified camera. I used an UG1 filter for my shots posted yesterday (more images using the UG1 on my blog photoIR.net). QUESTION 1 - anyone know of a good source of these (as screw-in filters) in the UK or Europe ? They are relatively expensive and I would rather not have to pay import duty from the US (even though the glass is made in the UK!) QUESTION 2 - what alternatives are there for these ? I could not find similar ones from B+W, Hoya or Heliopan
