For those looking for something different to ride that is free, this ride is this Saturday. SCHEDULE of EVENTS - Tour de Fort Worth and Bicycles, Inc. COM TdF CELEBRATION, Saturday, JULY 19TH at the Bicycles, Inc., store in Arlington, TX Come join Mayor Betsy Price and her Tour de Fort Worth team, at the Bicycles, Inc. in Arlington and the Fort Worth Bicycle Association (FWBA) for our annual Tour de France celebration at the July Century of the Month. 0645 – Doors Open 0700 – 0745 French-style breakfast (Eggs, meat, fruit and Nutella crepes, Starbuck’s French Roast coffee, etc.) 0750 – Announcements and Recognition of Frequent COM Riders 0755 – Greeting by Mayor Betsy Price and the Tour de Fort Worth team 0800 – Ride starts with sendoff by Mayor Price 1030 – Lunch provided by Cotton Patch Café No charge for this event, compliments of Bicycles, Inc., and Cotton Patch Café. Donations gladly accepted for the MS Society and American Diabetes Association The ride departs from the store located at 5739 SW Green Oaks Blvd, 817-572-9922, bicyclesinc, with routes of 12, 23, 42, 61, 81, and 102 miles and maps are provided. Emergency sag support will be available. Seating is limited so please think about bringing a chair to make eating and socializing more comfortable. This ride is ideal for bringing family and friends who may want to ride just a few miles to see what it is all about. The short 12 mile route stays in the neighborhood with very light traffic.
