For those not on our mailing list, our latest newsletter just went out. Here are just a few of the exciting things we mentioned in the latest update from our Doc Fest 2014 Newsletter. A Peek Into Documentary Film Making Beyond simply showing the film Just Eat It we are proud to announce that we will be having one of the key players in the film at our festival to both introduce it to our audience and to answer a Q & A after the film. Just Eat It, in many ways a follow up to their successful Clean Bin Project asks some serious questions of all of us about food waste. This will be your chance to ask the creators of this project a few serious questions of your own. Vancouver Storytellers We are also going to have a special treat on opening night, a guest storyteller from the Vancouver Society of Storytelling. Although I cant yet name our storyteller I will tell you she is a local and will be telling us a great yarn about early life here in New Westminster. Be sure to come on time so you dont miss out on this taste of an artform as old as civilization.
