For those of us to whom reasoned, intelligent thought is still appreciated, this article by Madar at... billmoyers/2014/11/25/impossible-indict-cop/ ...leaves one with awareness that because the sickness of murderous, militarized police is within the system, the system cannot be expected to fix itself... billmoyers/2014/11/25/impossible-indict-cop/ ..the article offers much information, but little in the way of solutions. It may be that a healing can come only from a level of evolution we havent arrived at yet, where a significant majority of the population finds racism or bigotry of any kind so unacceptable, so unthinkable, that a person such as Darren Wilson would be considered insane and immediately required to enter a life-long treatment program to deal with the issues that perverted him into the criminal that he is. At such a level of evolution, he will be the exception, instead of the rule. The only way to arrive there is one individual at a time, beginning with ourselves, and adding our voices to any public effort to end any poisonous ideology which separates us from one another.
