For those of you following the plight of the flower pot wanting to become a dutch oven again. Yesterday I scrubbed with balls of aluminum, baking soda, and white vinegar. It seemed to progress well. However it re rusted after I went to sleep. I then put apple cider vinegar in the center only to discover I could not complete the fill with water as my pipes had frozen. I abandoned it to tend to other hurdles put before me. For those of you that have recommended tanks, sand blasting and the like - thank you for your input but this has become a pride thing. (Its a living fairy tale now.) Johnny Cash playing in the background this time. I was armed to the teeth with coffee and cigarettes; I went at it again. I am now more determined to defeat and banish this villainous rust from my realm. As every good adventure has struggles, the pot and I are experiencing them now. It has become one of the dramas in my life. EXCITING, no? God willing my water pipes will be completely restored tomorrow. The saga will continue. By the way, I forgot to take my jewelry off before I put my hands to cleaning. You should see the sparkle of my diamond. Its makes me sparkle as well. This is so much fun. I cant wait to see how it will end.
