For those of you involved in community projects which could benefit from a small grant: Lisle International, a small non-profit which awards several seed grants of $500-$3000 each year to support projects which broaden global awareness and cultural understanding through experiential learning, with the goal of creating a more just social order. Individuals or organizations in any country are eligible. All applications need a "Lisle Mentor," a member of Lisle who reviews the proposal and provides support during the application process and grant period. For the funding period November 2013-October 2014, the deadline for application is September 15, 2013. More information, examples of previous grants, and the application form are available at lisleinternational.org/grants.shtml . An online application form is available under "Grant Forms," but since the application can not be saved before you submit it, you may wish to download the Word version of the application (link is at the top of the form) to use as a working document, and then paste your answers into the online form to submit them. As detailed on the application form, each project proposal needs to include: An identified "Lisle Mentor" A description of the project A clear budget Specific goals and objectives A time-line for the project A specified project evaluation process
