For those of you more interested in the strength side of things, yesterday I hit a PR on bench press. Here is me benching 255 lbs! I have come a longgggg way from when I first started. My max bench in grade 10 (when I first tried benching) was 75 lbs! I remember throwing on a 45 lb plate on each side of the bar and thinking that I could lift it. That went pretty badly haha. I dont train for strength predominantly, so keep this in mind. Generally strength/power and hypertrophy (increasing the size of muscles and muscle symmetry) are different training approaches. Anyways, this just goes to show you guys that you can achieve ANYTHING you put your mind to. I have had my eyes set on a 315 lb bench for a while, and I will be working towards that goal until I achieve it. In the meantime, at least I am more than half way there!
